Installed above P5 chipboard, existing floorboard & plywood subfloors throughout the property, the flooring has been laid free floating above Duralay acoustic underlay with each board bonded tongue to groove using Lecol PVAC wood adhesive.
Throughout the flooring installation white primed scotia & solid oak flatplates have been fixed to mask the expansion gap left around the perimeter of the floorspace for the flooring to expand and contract naturally, whilst solid oak stair nosing’s have been fixed to the tread of every stair for a neater finish.
The job was finalised once all minor gaps and pin-holes were filled using Bona Gapmaster.
The abundance of natural light present enhances the beautiful characteristics of the Lalegno invisible oiled planks.
